I only had plain cotton and jersey-cotton sheets before this, which I'd had for enough years they were beginning to get threadbare. Compared to those, these new Charter Club sheets are much nicer, and do help with cooling somewhat—nothing extraordinary, just nicer than I had. The smoother texture is also nice. Overall, I think I got a very good value for what I paid
