Villery and Boch Audun Ferme fine china

I totally love this set! The white china with the black historical pattern, offset by a creamy yellow trim look stunning on the cherry dining set as well as on my black counter tops in my kitchen. It subtley complements the midcentury modern rooms. The pieces are each different and mix well together.

Audun Dinnerware by Villeroy & Boch

The perfect combination of antique ambience and modern convenience! The black and white transfer pattern has a very traditional country gentry theme which is fun to look at. Have the younger dinner guests tell stories of what they see in the county scenes to keep them busy while waiting for dinner to arrive. When dinner is done, wisk this china into the dishwasher and enjoy your guests!

Audun

I own several sets of Villroy and Boch, however, this is one of my favorite patterns as it has a classic appeal of "toile" fabric. It makes a handsome table with a number of versatile mix and match options. There are lots of beautiful china patterns on the market. The trick seems to be able to find serviceable china that is distinctively different enough to create a memorable table and yet food still looks good on it. Audun fits the bill in all of these categories and is not so fussy, frilly, or girly as to intimidate male diners. Indeed, men are usually the first to comment on the pattern, rare treat.
